Job Summary Responsible for providing leadership in the warehouse area across all shifts, and acts in a supervisory capacity with few limitations as outlined in this text. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Ability to lead material distribution to Manufacturing as necessary Efficiently handle stock issues, stock replenishments, or stock returns Organize timely staging and delivery of product to internal and external customers Assist with QA segregation and movement of HOLD inventory Prepare product for shipment to contract sterilizers, or put away to include priority order expediting, pallet selection, SAP file updates, and loading/unloading of trucks Lead cycle inventories, reconcile counts and inventory tags as appropriate ? Operate fork truck and other warehouse equipment in a safe and correct manner; follow SOP's & good manufacturing practices for separation, storage, FIFO, and maintain proper housekeeping at all times Communicate and oversee daily tasks of warehouse operators, as well as measure and track performance Train new full time or temporary employees Review and approve payroll when needed Create and communicate the weekly schedule as needed Oversee all shifts, including coordinators, Sr. Handlers, and all operators Assist the Warehouse Manager with any and all projects, and daily operations Manages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements May perform other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to actively communicate with Warehouse Manager. Education and Experience: High School or GED Level of Degree in the general education field of study preferred. 2 years of demonstrated experience in Distribution/Warehouse ? Forklift certification preferred Valid Driver?s License required Certificate, Licenses, Registrations: Education documentation is required. Any other licenses or registrations to Professional Societies are to be provided by the candidate at his/her discretion. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions is required. Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision or direction. Ability to seek guidance with superior when necessary. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write and compute basic math. Ability to take direction. Self-motivated, flexible and cooperative. Excellent hand and eye coordination. Demonstrated decision making skills and effective problem solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. Ability to take initiative Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office Exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Exposure to Manufacturing Clean Room and Warehouse environment Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35lbs Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs Ability to regularly stand, sit and walk to perform production tasks. Required to perform repetitive movement while demonstrating proficient hand and eye coordination, hand dexterity and good vision. The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.00 - $32.25 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant?s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
