Position Description :

Serco is excited to continue to support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office. This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition life-cycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

Our Acquisition Management Analyst, located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, supports the F-35 JPO Combat Data Systems Program Management Office in its mission in developing and sustaining the F-35 Mission Planning and Reprogramming Enterprise of infrastructure, tools, and labs that produce mission data to enable Joint air dominance for U.S. Services, Partner Nations, and FMS Customers.

This position applies knowledge and experience in acquisition program management to the F-35 program throughout its life cycle. Our Senior Analyst, as the recognized authority in the advanced principles of acquisition management, leads a team in applying knowledge and expertise in acquisition program management to specified programs throughout their life cycles. Is a recognized authority in the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated systems management, manning, best practices, and lessons learned. Our Senior Analyst provides advanced expertise and innovation in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts to the exploration of the subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation. Supports the System Program Director at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events. Interacts frequently between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper level staff. Is assigned exclusively to support key, critical acquisition programs.

In this role you will;
? Mission Planning Environment ? assist Combat Data Systems PMO in providing Mission Planning tools to operational F-35 squadrons that enable Pilots and Mission Planners to develop and load the F-35 with mission specific information
? Mission Data Reprogramming Tools ? assist Combat Data Systems PMO in providing Mission Data Development Tools to operational reprogramming laboratories that enable sensor engineers to use intelligence data to develop Mission Data File Sets (MDFS), which are critical to equipping the F-35 with Aircraft/Airspace Situational Awareness, as well as in performing Combat Identification (CID), enabling weapon Cueing/ Targeting, and managing Electronic Attack (EA) and Countermeasures (Radio Frequency Countermeasures [RFCM] and Infrared Countermeasures [IRCM])
? Verification and Validation Systems ? assist Combat Data Systems PMO in providing verification and validation systems to operational reprogramming laboratories that enable operational analysts to test and assure MDFS in a realistic electromagnetic environment that can support the F-35 combat mission

To be successful in this role, you must have:
? The ability to provide onsite support at the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA a minimum of 2-3 days per week, each week. Onsite days in the JPO office may increase to provide onsite support up to 5 days per week to support the needs of the customer. Exact days in office at the JPO must be coordinated with F-35 customer and approved by your Serco manager.
? Six (6) out of the last ten (10) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning.
? Three (3) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
? Master?s Degree in Business Management or related discipline, or bachelor?s degree plus four years of program analysis and planning experience (14 years total).
? Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, in weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle management.
? Demonstrated knowledge, and/or familiarity with the DoD 5000 acquisition series, Federal and DoD acquisition regulations and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
? Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and earned value management.
? Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with DoD reporting tools and major reports.
? Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
? Up to 10% travel.

? Ability to analyze technical data in support of acquisition planning and requirements
? Ability to analyze technical data required for the evaluation of outcomes against program goals
? Ability to support technical evaluation of alternative approaches to solution development
? Microsoft Office to include: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
