Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mini Split Sales Specialist with at least 5 years of proven experience in the mini split space within the HVAC industry to join our dynamic sales team. This role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, rewarding your expertise and results-driven mindset. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of mini split systems (with a strong preference for Mitsubishi mini split expertise), exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle?from design and quoting to account management. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively sell mini split systems featured on gotductless.com, including Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, LG, Mr. Cool and other leading brands, to residential and commercial clients.
- System Design: Create custom mini split designs tailored to customer needs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Quoting & Proposals: Prepare accurate, detailed quotes and proposals for customers, clearly communicating value and system benefits.
- Account Management: Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Customer Service: Provide top-notch support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings to position Got Ductless products effectively.
- Self-Management: Work independently to meet sales targets, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities or customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in mini split sales, installation, or related fields. Extensive knowledge of mini split systems is a must; expertise with Mitsubishi mini splits is a significant advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of mini split system design, sizing, and application.
- Proven ability to create quotes and proposals with attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new products, processes, or customer demands.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- **Preferred:** Familiarity with the product lines sold on gotductless.com (Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, LG, Mr. Cool etc.) and experience using Shopify for account management (not especially necessary).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HVAC training or certifications are a plus.
