They are seeking an IT Assistant B (Moderator) to support virtual training programs by managing online meetings and assisting participants with technical issues. Responsibilities - Opens the virtual meeting (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.) - Assumes the role of host - Admits participants - Takes attendance - Creates & launches breakout room exercises as per instructor directives - Creates & launches polls - Oversees the chat function for drops handout documents in the chat - Manages the whiteboard and annotation - Instructs participants where to locate the course evaluation link or drops the link for custom programs in the chat - Provides support for participants with any technical difficulties Skills - DEC - Bilingual (English/French) - High School Diploma - 1 Year Related Experience - Authorized to work in Canada - Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based/located - Knowledge of English at a level assessed on a scale of 0-4 Company Overview - McGill University is one of Canada's best-known institutions of higher learning and one of the leading universities in the world.
