[Remote] Account Executive - VendorLine Sales

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PlanetBids is a leader in web-based eProcurement solutions, seeking an Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle for VendorLine. The role involves self-sourcing leads, conducting outreach, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Own the full sales cycle for VendorLine from self-sourced prospecting through signed contract - Generate your own pipeline through outbound cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other direct prospecting channels - Identify and target contractors, vendors, and suppliers who participate in or are looking to participate in government procurement - Run discovery calls, product demonstrations, and follow-up communications with a consultative approach - Manage all deal activity, pipeline stages, notes, and contact records in HubSpot CRM with accuracy and discipline - Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for pipeline generation and closed revenue - Develop a strong understanding of VendorLine's value proposition and communicate it clearly to a variety of buyer personas - Provide market and prospect feedback to help shape messaging, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy - Collaborate with the SDR team and marketing on campaigns where relevant, while maintaining independence over your own pipeline Skills - 1 - 3 years of experience in a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role; you've sourced and closed your own deals - HubSpot CRM proficiency required; you keep your pipeline clean and your activity logged without being asked - Demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline through outbound prospecting; you don't wait for leads to come to you - Comfortable with high-velocity, shorter sales cycles; you can manage multiple opportunities simultaneously without letting deals stall - Strong discovery and consultative selling skills; you ask good questions and match solutions to real problems - Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of crafting outreach that earns a response - Highly self-directed and accountable in a remote environment - Ability to travel up to 20% to tradeshows, conferences, training, and corporate events, as needed - Must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work for any employer - Background in construction tech, field service software, contractor management, or a related industry strongly preferred; you understand how contractors and vendors operate Benefits - Competitive pay that recognizes your skills and contributions - Flexible scheduling in a fully remote environment - Unlimited PTO with an annual vacation bonus to encourage recharging - Medical insurance with generous company contributions - Dental and vision insurance with 100% of employee premiums paid by the company - Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage - Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, with options to increase your coverage - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA options - 401(k) plan with both Traditional and Roth options, immediate vesting, and an employer match - Legal Club membership for personal legal support - Employee Assistance Program for confidential counseling and resources - Career pathing and professional development to help you grow and thrive - A collaborative, engaged culture where your ideas matter and your voice is heard Company Overview - PlanetBids is a web-based eProcurement company that provides a modular suite of innovative and best-in-class solutions.
