PAM Engineer A well-established financial organization is seeking a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer at the VP level to lead and support enterprise-wide PAM initiatives. This hands-on role is ideal for a security-focused technologist with experience in Delinea (preferred), CyberArk, or BeyondTrust, and a strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles. Key Responsibilities • Configure, manage, and secure PAM platforms (Delinea, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust). • Administer privileged access systems including account provisioning, password vaulting, session monitoring, and audit logging. • Integrate PAM tools with enterprise systems such as SIEM, SSO, and IGA platforms. • Respond to incidents, monitor for suspicious activity, and troubleshoot PAM-related issues. • Take ownership of learning and certification if Delinea experience is not present. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) through regular audits and documentation. • Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to align PAM systems with broader security goals. Required Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience with PAM technologies (Delinea preferred, CyberArk or BeyondTrust acceptable). • Strong understanding of IAM, privileged access controls, and security protocols. • Experience integrating PAM with platforms including Linux, Windows, Active Directory, hypervisors, storage, and network devices. • Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python is a plus). • Solid troubleshooting and incident response capabilities. • Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements. • Experience with IT infrastructure and directory services. Preferred Qualifications • Certifications in PAM technologies (Delinea, CyberArk, BeyondTrust). • Exposure to network, endpoint, or cloud security. • Experience with SIEM, SSO, and IGA integrations. • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Education • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
