Position: Lead Informatica Power Center Developer
Location- Branchville, NJ
Duration: Long term Contract
Work Mode: Five Days onsite
Primary skills:
Strong communicator who can coordinate on hybrid team directly with stakeholders
PowerCenter/CDIPC (legacy ETL – large codebase)
IDMC/IICS
SQL
Data modeling
Secondary skills:
Databricks/Pyspark (long term ETL vision)
Power BI (long term reporting vision)
Cognos (legacy reporting)
SSIS (legacy ETL small code base)
Required Qualifications
Must have a Lead hands‑on development and support
Min Ten+ years of experience leading and/or hands‑on developing Data Warehouse, data integration, or data engineering projects.
Responsible for unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Proven leadership: history of owning deliverables and guiding teams to complete complex, time‑boxed projects.
Strong Informatica expertise: extensive experience building and maintaining mappings, workflows, parameterization, reusable components, and deployment packages.
Advanced SQL skills: ability to write, profile, and optimize complex SQL; experience with query tuning, indexing strategies, and analyzing execution plans.
Data modeling knowledge: dimensional and normalized modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and metadata management.
Experience with ELT and modern stacks: Databricks or INFROMATICA platforms preferred.
Solid troubleshooting skills for production support, performance issues, and data quality problems.
Excellent communication skills: able to explain technical tradeoffs to business stakeholders and produce clear documentation.
