Key Responsibilities

Conduct audits in accordance with ISCC requirements and Control Union’s certification procedures.

Review and verify documentation, records, and operational practices for compliance with ISCC standards.

Assess sustainability criteria, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data, and supply chain traceability.

Prepare professional audit reports with accurate findings and recommendations.

Maintain impartiality, confidentiality, and professionalism in all audit activities.

Stay current with ISCC updates, regulations, and sustainability best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ISCC or RSB/2BSvs qualify auditor
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of auditing or relevant industry experience (sustainability, agriculture, energy, or supply chain).
- Knowledge of ISCC standards (ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, ISCC CORSIA).
- ISO Lead Auditor training (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a freelance contractor.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are an asset).

Job Summary
Control Union is seeking qualified Freelance ISCC Auditors to support the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) program. As a freelance auditor, you will assess companies’ compliance with ISCC standards, helping to ensure sustainable sourcing, traceability, and transparency across global supply chains.
This is a remote, project-based freelance opportunity with travel depending on assignment.
