Job Overview
In this remote, full-time position, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a starting pay of $15/hour and the potential to earn up to $16/hour within your first year, plus merit-based increases. You will also have access to additional bonus opportunities based on meeting Key Job Accountabilities (KJA) after 6, 12, and 24 months. As a remote worker, you will be provided with company-provided technology equipment and will be required to have a stable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and productive.
- Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, utilizing our proprietary systems to provide accurate and up-to-date information to our members.
- Look up member information using our systems and provide information to the caller, addressing their concerns and resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department, ensuring that all customer inquiries are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
- Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue, such as claims or authorizations, ensuring that our members receive the support they need.
- Utilize appropriate resources, including online resources, to provide timely responses to customer inquiries, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage your time effectively to ensure that calls are answered within required timeframes and that follow-up is done in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding our minimum key job accountabilities.
- Document all calls appropriately, maintaining accurate and detailed records of customer interactions.
- Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
- A minimum of one year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, demonstrating a ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
