Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Closing Manager, the Closer works to ensure the integrity of the customer experience and loan closing protocols. He/she performs duties related to closing mortgage loan applications and handling mortgage loan closing documentation, with an intense focus on the customer experience. The role? primary duties are centered around communicating with all stakeholders, balancing closing figures, drawing closing packages, verifying compliance with closing fees and documentation, meeting closing conditions, disbursing funds,

Essential Responsibilities: ?aintain knowledge of all current conventional, USDA, bond, jumbo, FHA, and VA closing procedures issued by the company, investors, and government agencies. ?chedule and prepare loans for closing. ?alance fees and ensure fee compliance. ?nsure accuracy of tax/insurance information and data entry. ?nsure disclosure timing requirements are met. ?lose a pipeline of 45 or more active loans. ?lear closing conditions. ?nsure all critical dates within pipeline are met, including but not limited to closing dates and lock expiration dates. ?eet all company Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding pipeline management and communication. ?ommunicate with customers, mortgage consultants, real estate agents, operations employees, title/escrow companies, and insurance agents. ?ollow company prescribed approach when communicating with customers. ?rder wires and authorize disbursement of funds. ?eview documents for completeness and request additional information as required. ?esolve defects/post-close issues. ?nsure compliance with investor/legal guidelines and directives. ?ther duties as assigned.

Qualifications: ?+ years residential mortgage closing experience ?trong customer service skills required ?igh school diploma or equivalent ?ollege degree preferred ?xperience using Encompass preferred ?ust possess strong mathematical and judgment skills ?ust be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines ?ust comply with industry-related regulations, requirements, and state/federal laws ?bility to work independently to meet production and quality goals ?roficient with Microsoft Office suite
