Job Summary The primary purpose of this role is to provide level 1 and basic level 2 technical support to resolve commonly reported, semi-complex problems with technology products and applications, including computer hardware and software, telecommunications equipment, and networks operating in our stores, supply chain facilities, and corporate office locations. As a Technology Support Technician (SP), you will be the first point of contact for our customers and internal stakeholders, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Provide level 1 and basic level 2 technical support to resolve technical issues with technology products and applications Respond to customer requests via phone queue, chat, and customer emails, ensuring timely and effective solutions Create and update knowledge articles and support processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical support services Participate in the execution of disaster recovery and business continuity processes, supporting these events as they arise Perform the setup and maintenance of computer systems, including installing and/or upgrading hardware and software Interact with third-party hardware and/or software vendors, initiating and supporting vendor services as necessary Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve our technology systems Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of technical skills, knowledge, and experience. Here are the minimum and preferred qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) 2 years IT experience in a support or operations environment working with PC or client/server platforms and/or hardware 2 years of experience requiring the use of a PC or company information system Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field 1 year of IT experience in the retail industry Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including troubleshooting and repair Experience with telecommunications equipment and networks Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and incident management systems Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
