The Grocery Ads team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who will own the management and execution of expanding existing Amazon Ads products and the new Grocery specific Ad products in Fresh, Whole Foods Market and Grocery partners. You will work with Product and Tech team within the grocery space and with the Core Ads team to drive the goals to closure. Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be 100% focused on our business, understanding the needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs. You will also be excellent at driving results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. You are involved in reviewing the systems-level technical design of your projects and balance near term business needs with long-term implications for Amazon. You rationalize technical requirements and business priorities in cross-functional teams. You manage cross-functional communication to ensure all business and technical stakeholder’s needs are aligned. As Sr. TPM communication is pivotal to eliminate redundant discussions between tech and product teams as well as define/revisit processes to gain efficiencies.

A day in the life

A Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) will partner with engineers, other TPMs, Product Managers and senior management to help create world-class solutions. About The Team

Our team owns expanding the existing Amazon Ad products and building new Grocery First Ad products for Fresh, Whole Food Market and Grocery Partners(Bartells, Morrisons etc.). Our team is data obsessed and see experiment delivery as successes. We have a lot of learning to do and big goals to deliver, and we need your help to accelerate our learning curve. We are frugal and scrappy, leveraging existing tech where sufficient and focusing our resources on that which is highest-value. We will have strong bias for action, refuse to accept constraints internal or external, and need to move fast to solve problems; but we must do so while maintaining the highest standards to best serve our custom

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
