Position Overview:

Behavior Management: Apply effective strategies to manage behavior and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
Student Support: Offer individualized and group instruction focusing on academic, social, and behavioral goals.
Requirements:
Certification: Valid Special Education Teacher certification required; specific endorsements (e.g., SPEED) may be necessary depending on location.
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher with a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional methods.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a dedicated commitment to supporting students with special needs.
Adaptability: Ability to modify instructional strategies to meet varying student needs and classroom dynamics.
