Position Overview As a Software Engineering Co-op within our Integrated Digital Solutions (IDS) team, you will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on pushing the boundaries of machine learning and artificial intelligence. This is a unique chance to work on analytics platforms in a cloud environment, develop your coding skills, and contribute to projects that have a significant impact on the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities Collaborative Development Environment: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, project engineers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Technical Communication: Develop the ability to communicate complex technical subjects with clarity and precision, preparing and delivering technical presentations and demos to peers and stakeholders. Cloud-Based Development: Contribute to the development of code for analytics platforms in a cloud environment, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. Mentorship and Growth: Work under the guidance of a senior software engineer, developing a strong sense of ownership and growth in your role. Requirements and Qualifications Basic Qualifications Educational Background: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline, such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills Programming Languages: Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (such as .NET C# or Java), scripting languages like Python, and/or the Vue JavaScript framework.
