Social Media Content Creator Intern

Sparo is a social media and digital marketing agency located in Miami, FL. We are currently seeking a Social Media Content Creator Intern who is passionate about branding, storytelling, and social media content creation, and brings a strong and detailed visual approach to their work. Our internship program allows college students studying in the fields of marketing, advertising, graphic design, film, and PR to hone their skills and gain real-world experience while making valuable connections and entering our job growth pipeline. The primary duties of the position will be creating short TikTok-style video content, as well as other types of social content, for the social media accounts of a variety of clients, from diverse industries. Candidate must be comfortable creating content from behind the camera and editing content to be suitable for social media use. This is a part-time, paid position ($15/hour), with hours negotiable based on the candidate's class or work schedule. The estimated workload for the internship will be 15-20 hours per week starting 01 December 2025 until 31 May 2026. The candidate must be located in South Florida, as well as have their own mode of transportation in order to be able to complete in-person filming tasks related to the duties of the internship. We have a strong desire to grow this position into a full-time position, so there is an opportunity for advancement for the right candidate. The most important non-tangible qualities the ideal candidate possesses are a humble attitude with a desire to learn and be taught, a problem-solving mindset, the ability to self-motivate and work independently, and a proactive and communicative approach to teamwork. Qualifications: • Must provide relevant work examples (or link to portfolio) • Passionate about social media and an avid user of Instagram and TikTok • Independent worker who can stay on deadline without micro-management • Be able to produce accurate, visually appealing video content work • Good organizational, communication and time management skills • Knowledge and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Audition, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator,) as well as CANVA preferred • English fluency required, Spanish fluency a bonus • Strong writing skills • Knowledge in how to use AI tools for text and image generation, such as ChatGPT • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Rising Junior or Senior preferred.
