Social Media and Content Manager - My Place Hotels of America - In-office Aberdeen, SD My Place Hotels of America is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our Brand's online presence. This role will lead the planning, creation, and management of content across all social media platforms sharing The My Place story, engaging current and future guests, while growing our audiences. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Brand goals, local events, and marketing initiatives • Manage day-to-day content creation, scheduling, and publishing across all platforms • Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive online communities daily • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns while overseeing social media budgets • Design and execute social media promotions to increase engagement and grow audiences • Track key metrics and translate data into strategies that drive results and boost ROI • Provide monthly reports on all social media performance • Gain a full understanding of Brand standards regarding Brand image • Receives feedback and adapts plans according to needs • Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to maintain a competitive edge Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (Marketing or related field) preferred • 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing • Have a deep understanding of LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and know how to tailor content for each • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies • Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance measurement • Strong copywriting and content creation skills • Creative thinker with attention to detail • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills • Experience running paid social ad campaigns • Proficiency in social media management tools • Highly knowledgeable with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools Supervisory Responsibility: This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: The job operates in a professional office environment or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and other customary office equipment. Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing, as necessary. Travel: Travel may be required to support company marketing initiatives.
