Senior Network Product SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Network Product Specialist to join the team in Dallas, TX. This position will support all Boeing subsidiaries within the Network Design and Operations function. The selected candidate will partner cross functionally with all levels from individual contributors to executives as well as various organizations within Boeing. Position Responsibilities:Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and servicesLeads and organizes the creation and documentation of network designsResearches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques. Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of complex implementation packagesLeads the maintenance of network systemsDevelops and implements cost control action plans based upon review of internal and sourced infrastructureLeads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projectsPerforms activities to identify and pursue market opportunities for Information Technology productsLeads customer engagements and analyzes customer, competitor and market data to develop Information Technology (IT) product strategy, concepts and capabilitiesDevelops business case and product plansOversees creation of business and functional requirements and product roadmapsWorks with other IT professionals to ensure requirements are metObtains funding and approval to develop productsSupports product demonstrations, value propositions and represents/promotes IT products internallyAdjusts product capabilities and strategy to meet financial targetsAnalyzes, integrates and refines strategic requirements to provide input into the network design processActs as a technical expert in the creation and documentation of strategic designsLeads the research, development, documentation and deployment of emerging technologies and techniquesPrepares, deploys and coordinates installation of advanced implementation packagesActs as an expert in the resolution of advanced and complex maintenance problemsSupports strategic budget and business plans and develops and implements multi-technology action plansCoordinates multiple engineering projects to ensure successful implementation and reduce total cost of ownershipBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):7+ years of experience working in data centers, network designs and/or architecture5+ years of experience working cross functionally3+ years of experience with systems architecture3+ years of experience in a formal or informal lead role3+ years of experience with IT product strategyExperience working with cloud products (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceCurrent cloud certifications (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.)Current network certifications (CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco)Experience working to obtain approvals for fundingExperience working on a global teamExperience working with network designDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
