Remote Editorial Assistant
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Remote Editorial Assistant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities • Assist in proofreading and editing manuscripts to ensure grammatical accuracy and adherence to style guidelines. • Conduct research to verify facts and gather additional content to support editorial projects. • Format and prepare documents for publication, ensuring consistency in layout and presentation. • Collaborate with writers and editors on revisions and feedback to enhance article quality. • Maintain organized records of submissions, edits, and publication schedules. • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and contribute ideas for improvement. • Help manage communication with authors and contributors regarding submissions and editorial processes. Required and Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field. • Strong editing skills, with a solid understanding of grammar and punctuation. • Proficiency in standard editing software and tools. • At least 1-2 years of experience in an editorial or related role preferred. • Familiarity with digital content management systems is a plus.
