Who are we looking for? • Teacher must have a quiet space to be able to teach the students and have a keyboard or piano as well. • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in music performance, k12 music education, or other related field. • Please, do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions. We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates. Essential to pass a background check. • Must read and answer texts and emails right away. • The ideal candidate will understand the concept of time zone difference and work with it daily and comfortably. • US work authorization only. • All questions in the pre-screening will need to be answered to be considered. What would make you stand out from the crowd? • Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, and other experiences) is preferred. • Teaching certification is preferred. Responsibilities • Develop and implement engaging piano lesson plans tailored to children's learning styles. • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment to encourage student participation. • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical skills. • Collaborate with parents to discuss student development and address any concerns. • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a focused learning atmosphere. • Stay updated on music education trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
