Overview: AccuWeather is seeking a highly motivated Product Intern to join our Digital Strategy team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across AccuWeather’s digital ecosystem—including our website, mobile apps, and connected TV applications—to evaluate market dynamics and support the development of innovative product strategies. You will work closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams to analyze digital trends, assess competitive positioning, and uncover actionable insights that drive growth and innovation. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and passionate about the intersection of technology, media, and consumer behavior. Key Responsibilities: Research and track digital market trends, including product innovations, pricing models, promotional tactics, and emerging technologies. Track and assess competitor activities, providing benchmarking insights and identifying potential threats or opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key product lines, including both ad-supported and direct-to-consumer subscription models. Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations, and effectively communicate insights to senior leadership. Advise internal teams on digital and social media best practices, emerging platforms, and integrated marketing opportunities. Qualifications: Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Digital Media, or a related field; MBA candidates preferred. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker). Solid understanding of the digital media landscape, including consumer apps, connected devices, and social media. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights and communicate them effectively. Comfortable interpreting market research and business documents, including financial statements and product roadmaps. Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
