Position Overview We are offering a contract LPN position that provides an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an LPN with Spectrum Healthcare Resources, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our military community. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to active-duty military, veterans, and their families, assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans. Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and maintain accurate patient records. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical practices and technologies. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork. Essential Qualifications Education: Certificate in Practical or Vocational Nursing from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Experience: One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation. Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse. BLS Certification: Required through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a military or VA healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams. Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
