As a Junior Dental Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional support and service, driving their success and ours. About the Role As a Dental Customer Support Specialist at Osteoid, you will be the face of our company to dental professionals. You will serve as a bridge between our customers and our production team, ensuring that our products meet their needs and expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include providing product assistance, resolving issues, and collaborating with doctors to plan cases using our Osteoid software. You will work primarily through phone and email, handling cases independently or collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Complete department training requirements under direct supervision to become proficient in Osteoid software and processes Conduct surgical case planning with doctors, ensuring accurate and efficient case execution Provide product assistance via phone and email, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner Conduct product training with new customers, ensuring they are equipped to use our software effectively Follow up with surgical case progress, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction Build and maintain professional working relationships with doctors, providing clinical feedback to our production team Train for and complete bone reduction cases with direct supervision, expanding your skill set and expertise Successfully pass validation training, demonstrating your understanding of Osteoid software and processes Handle complaints and resolve kickbacks, ensuring customer concerns are addressed and resolved Receive and process 3rd party data, ensuring accurate and efficient data management Perform other relevant duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, clinical, and interpersonal skills. Essential Qualifications Strong computer knowledge and ability to quickly learn new software applications Capacity to learn clinical dental terms and medical concepts, demonstrating a willingness to expand your knowledge Excellent phone skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple cases and priorities High accountability and responsibility, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical or dental industry, providing a foundation for understanding customer needs and expectations Experience in radiology, demonstrating a familiarity with medical imaging concepts and terminology Experience speaking to medical professionals on the phone, showcasing your ability to communicate effectively with customers Flexibility and ability to multitask, enabling you to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field, providing a foundation for understanding clinical concepts and terminology 0-1+ year of full-time work experience, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment Career Growth and Development As a Junior Dental Customer Support Specialist, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your skills, advancing your career within Osteoid.
