We're a small, remote HR consulting firm based in Los Angeles, CA and we're looking for an experienced Wix developer to help us get more out of our existing website. This is not a full redesign, we have a functioning site and a solid content library, but we need someone who can handle the back-end integrations, fix layout/spacing issues we can't resolve on our own, and help us build out some new functionality.
We're looking for someone to work with us on an ongoing project basis, not a one-time gig. You'd be our go-to for Wix questions, fixes, and builds as we grow.
WHAT WE NEED HELP WITH:
- Fixing layout and spacing issues that look fine in preview but break on publish
- Connecting our readiness assessment tool to MailChimp so leads flow into a sales cycle automatically
- Building out a resource library that doesn't live in the blog
- Exploring whether we can run online courses/cohort programs directly in Wix (currently using a separate platform we'd like to consolidate)
- Integrating various Wix apps and third-party tools across the site
- General updates to existing pages (payroll page, landing pages, etc.)
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Proven Wix experience, ideally including Wix Velo for custom functionality
- Comfortable with third-party integrations (MailChimp, Zoom, form tools, etc.)
- Good communicator with a fast response rate, we move quickly and need someone who does too
- Experience with small business or service-based sites (not just e-commerce)
- Available for ongoing work, not just a single project
TO APPLY: Please share examples of Wix sites you've built or maintained, and tell us briefly how you'd approach connecting a form or assessment tool to a MailChimp audience. Templated proposals will be skipped, we want to hear from you specifically.
