The Territory Manager is responsible for overseeing sales and business development with dealers and customers in an assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proactively source new business opportunities through networking, cold calls, web searches, social media, trade shows, product demonstrations, and referrals.
• Serve as primary contact for dealers and customers, providing detailed product knowledge including features, benefits, pricing, and applications.
• Develop and manage promotional materials and demonstration equipment to support marketing efforts.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Plan and attend trade shows, events, conferences, and dealer meetings.
• Assist dealers with accurate and timely pricing, quotes, and program details.
• Conduct presentations, training, and product support for dealers and customers.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Agriculture or farming background preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT physical requirements.
Physical Requirements:
• Primarily sedentary with intermittent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Periodic travel required.
