Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Azure Data Platform & Snowflake
Location: Remote, India
Contract: 6-12 months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & build scalable data pipelines for analytics & reporting
2. Integrate data from various sources into data lakes & warehouses
3. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, & Azure SQL Server
4. Collaborate with data scientists & analysts to enable ML use cases
5. Design & optimize DBT models for scalable data transformations
6. Implement data governance, security, & compliance practices
Technical Skills:
- 7+ years of data engineering experience
- Python, SQL, Spark
- Azure, Snowflake, DBT, Erwin Data Modeler
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in ML Lifecycle using Azure services
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering using Snowflake
- Experience with streaming & batch inferencing
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Stakeholder engagement & agile delivery
- Agile/Scrum experience using Azure DevOps
