They are seeking a Scheduler to join their Minerals and Metals business in Canada, where the role involves establishing project schedules, implementing change management, and preparing detailed reports on project progress. Responsibilities - Establish project schedule utilizing standard Ausenco systems, by creating the work breakdown structure, disciplines and tasks - Assist in the change management process to track and control project adjustments effectively - Implement and lead the tracking and updating effort on projects - Continually monitor and update project schedule and forecasts by engaging with project teams to make sure that forecasts accurately reflect the current scope and schedule - Prepare detailed reports for managers, providing clear insights into project progress and indexes Skills - Previous experience in project controls, specifically in scheduling - Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders - Previous experience in mining, construction or engineering is an asset - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field is an asset - Significant technical knowledge and practical experience with applicable software systems: Primavera P6, Oracle, and related Management tools Benefits - Career advancement - Embark on a journey of continuous growth through technical training, mentorship initiatives, and networking opportunities - Work Life Balance – Experience the best of both worlds with our hybrid work model, allowing you to balance office days with working from home; and progressive parental leave benefits to foster family needs and professional life - Holistic approach to wellness – Take a proactive approach to your overall wellbeing.
