Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. They are seeking a Researcher to join their research team to solicit, collect, process, and analyze event, contact, and box office data in the live entertainment space.
Responsibilities
- Research new and existing events and relationships in live entertainment
- Maintain, update and preserve the integrity of our database
- Reconciliation of conflicts in the database
- Identification and removal of duplicate records
- Data entry for contact updates and routebook data received via email
- Customer service for Pollstar Reporters
- Proofing charts and features for weekly publication
- Work closely with Department Heads on all tasks related to Pollstar Directory, Boxoffice and Routebook production
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
Skills
- Experience in and a strong working knowledge of the concert business
- Experience with data entry including self-proofing and interpretation of data
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced aptitude with Excel or other data tools
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- The ability to work on deadline with accuracy
