In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and managing complex client relationships in the power and utilities sector. Responsibilities • Lead underwriting and portfolio management for new and existing loan transactions in the power and utilities sector • Partner with Relationship Managers as a trusted client contact, helping structure deals, manage amendments, and deliver exceptional service • Monitor covenant compliance, track portfolio performance, and ensure adherence to credit policy, procedures, and regulatory standards • Review loan and legal documentation, borrowing requests, and disbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Risk, Legal, Loan Operations, and Credit • Support portfolio growth by driving loan and deposit activity, fee income, and referrals • Mentor and guide junior portfolio managers, fostering professional development and quality standards Skills • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or other related discipline, or equivalent related experience • 4+ years of Commercial, Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, Specialized Banking and/or Credit Approval Experience • 4+ years of extensive experience handling complex credits • Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive • 3+ years working in Specialized Finance - Energy • 2+ years of sales experience • 2+ years of formal credit training • CFA-Charted Financial Analyst Benefits • Retirement savings including both 401(k) and Pension plans. • Paid time off to volunteer in your community. • Opportunities to connect with others through our diversity-focused Colleague Resource Groups. • Competitive salaries with professional development and advancement opportunities. • Bonus benefits including well-being programs and incentives, parental leave, an employee stock purchase plan, military benefits and much more. • Personal banking, loan, investment and insurance benefits.
