Our office is looking for a remote IT Support specialist.
We need someone who knows a lot about computer/laptops, servers, networking, Windows 11, Office 365, and has good online research and troubleshooting skills.
Must have positive/happy personality, good communication, and is reliable and trustworthy.
We would basically hire this position as on-call/part-time and our staff would assign tickets (or send Outlook email or send Teams message) that they need help and a response would be given within the hour and support would be provided within 2 hours.
This position would be paid 1099 as an independent contractor through Upwork. Each hour worked based on each ticket submitted would accrue throughout the week and a check would be issued twice a month, 1st and 15th. For example: If our staff submit 10 tickets, each totaling 10 hours of work, then you would submit 10 hours, and we would pay you for 10 hours. If no ticket are submitted, you would not be paid since there no hours submitted.
