Role Overview – Email Marketing Specialist (Customer.io)
Working closely with arenaflex’s seasoned Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of Customer.io campaigns, with a special focus on designing responsive email and SMS templates, managing sophisticated segmentation, and troubleshooting technical issues that arise during deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Segmentation & Campaign Management: Build, maintain, and optimize robust audience segments in Customer.io, launching multiple concurrent campaigns that align with product launches, patient onboarding, and re‑engagement initiatives.
- Template Development: Design and code fully responsive email and SMS templates using Liquid logic, ensuring they render flawlessly across devices and email clients.
- A/B Testing: Set up, execute, and analyze A/B tests to continuously improve open rates, click‑through rates, and conversion metrics.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate insightful reports, and present actionable recommendations to the broader Marketing team.
- Technical QA & Troubleshooting: Proactively QA campaigns, diagnose rendering, deliverability, or segmentation issues, and resolve them in collaboration with internal stakeholders and platform support.
- Communication & Documentation: Clearly articulate execution timelines, campaign statuses, and performance outcomes to both technical and non‑technical team members.
- Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and analytics teams to align messaging with product roadmaps and user journeys.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years hands‑on experience designing and executing email and SMS campaigns for B2C or B2B audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Liquid templating within the context of email design.
- Demonstrated expertise with the Customer.io platform and integration of Twilio for SMS delivery.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to segmentation, rendering, and deliverability.
