Remote Dayshift - Bookkeeper (AU Roofing Industry)
VA RATE - $8-9 AUD/hour
We are seeking a reliable and experienced full-time bookkeeper to support our company’s financial operations. We are a construction business with an annual revenue of approximately $4.5 million, working with 4–6 primary clients and 4–6 primary suppliers, with a small number of additional suppliers as required.
The successful bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including:
• Bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
• Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and internal records
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Issuing invoices and processing payments (money in / money out)
• Following up overdue invoices
• Checking invoices against agreed price costings
• Liaising directly with the Director and Business Development Manager regarding project-related finances
• Recording and maintaining project data within our accounting system
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports, continuing the same standard and structure currently set by our outgoing Accounts Manager
Our current Accounts Manager, Jade, will be finishing up next Tuesday, so we require someone who can learn quickly, integrate immediately, and maintain continuity of our existing reporting processes.

• MUST have at least 2-3 years relevant experience as Bookkeeper/Accountant
