About the company:
We are a new overland adventure gear company based in the Denver metro area, launching innovative hard-shell rooftop cabins, vehicle-specific racks, and overlanding accessories this April. We're entering an exciting growth phase and need strategic SEO/SEM support to maximize our digital presence and drive early adoption.
The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced SEO/SEM Specialist to help us refine our keyword strategy, optimize our website, and launch targeted PPC campaigns. This is a part-time, ongoing role (approximately 5 hours/week) with the potential to grow as our needs evolve.
IMPORTANT: Our official website launched this week, making immediate keyword & website optimization a top priority.
Primary Responsibilities
Keyword Strategy & Prioritization:
• Review our existing robust SEO keyword list
• Create a "priority SEO list" with researched details: 1 primary + *2-4 supporting secondary keywords per webpage
• Apply this strategy across approximately 50 webpages (exact number TBD)
• Develop a non-priority keyword list for PPC testing campaigns
Website Optimization:
• Guide integration of priority keywords into website copy, content, meta tags, and page elements
• Provide strategic recommendations for on-page SEO optimization
PPC Campaign Management:
• Help launch and manage Google Ads and other paid search campaigns
• Integrate developed keyword strategy into PPC campaigns
• Test and optimize campaigns using both priority and non-priority keyword lists
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing optimization recommendations
Platform Support:
• Provide support within our company-selected SEO/SEM platform
• Guide our team on best practices and strategy implementation
• Assist with other SEO/SEM-related needs as they arise
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of proven SEO/SEM experience, preferably with e-commerce or product launches
• Strong keyword research and competitive analysis skills
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO platforms (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.)
• Experience optimizing websites for conversions and search visibility
• Ability to work independently and provide strategic guidance
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with our marketing team
• Experience in outdoor, adventure, or automotive industries is a plus
• Based in Denver metro area preferred but not required (remote work possible)
Time Commitment
• Part-time: Approximately 5 hours per week
