Job Summary Cromwell is seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Structural Engineer with 5–12 years of experience in a consulting environment. The ideal candidate has been involved in all aspects of structural design, planning, construction, and construction administration. This role includes occasional travel (approximately 15–20%) for site inspections and project monitoring. Key Responsibilities - Perform structural design using Revit, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and ETABS - Review and provide feedback on design documents, ensuring constructability and compliance with codes and standards - Review and approve reports and construction-phase documentation - Prepare proposals, studies, reports, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and final design packages - Coordinate with clients to resolve issues and secure project approvals - Collaborate with internal teams and construction personnel on design standards and field conditions - Develop detailed structural design documents - Lead or support project management activities, including meetings and presentations Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (with structural focus) - 5+ years of structural engineering experience (consulting preferred) - Strong proficiency in Revit and related tools - Solid knowledge of structural analysis and design software - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and project coordination Preferred Requirements - Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in NY or NJ, or ability to obtain within one year Additional Requirements - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship - Ability to commute. Compensation & Benefits - Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year - 401(k) - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off Job Type Full-time.
