The Manager, Analytics will serve as the team project manager, overseeing scope, assignment, quality, and delivery of routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting. In consultation with Analytics team, CDR, and other Moore leadership, the Manager, Analytics will consult on long-term initiatives at the department and company levels. The Manager, Analytics will also be a hands-on technical and subject-matter expert responsible for mentoring analysts. The Manager, Analytics, must be a strategic thinker able to work and direct others’ work in a fast-paced, creative, entrepreneurial environment and be comfortable with a varied set of data sources and reporting tools.

Your Impact:
- Will supervise junior-level team members.
- Motivates team members to achieve business objectives.
- Directs the activities of the assigned team to maintain effective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with established standards and practices and fulfillment of critical deadlines.
- Coaches and mentors staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; completes performance evaluations and reviews of team members; staff rewards, and professional development.
- Oversees conflict and problem resolution and discipline, in accordance with Moore’s policies and applicable regulations.
Your Profile:
- 5 years of experience as a marketing/data analyst with a non-profit organization or an agency that provides direct marketing services to non-profit organizations.
- 1 year of experience managing others.
- Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
- Must have a strong understanding of project management.
- Experience supporting a non-profit organization or an agency that provides direct marketing services to non-profit organizations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in mathematics, marketing, economics, social sciences.
- Supervisory, mentoring, and/or training experience.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, knowledge of additional databases such as SQL Server and MySQL. Capability of writing advanced queries and stored procedures in SQL.
- Must have experience in the use of Microsoft Power BI desktop, with knowledge and experience loading and transforming data within the tool, and writing and editing DAX.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational database design and warehousing concepts, including basic Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) skills.
- Strong background experience with database platforms like Snowflake and/or Azure.
- Experience with analyzing, compiling, cleansing, interpreting, joining and staging data.
- Exceptional experience analyzing and visualizing data with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas/functions, and pivot tables.
- Experience with direct marketing and attribution across multiple channels, including but not limited to direct mail, social, digital, email, DRTV, and CTV are preferred.
- Familiarity with fundraising metrics, file segmentation techniques, and direct marketing strategy is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, able to diagnose problems quickly and solve them effectively.
- Comfort working across a wide array of client data and reporting platforms.
- Comfort with a fast-paced agency environment and a variety of client service tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and on teams.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal staff
