In this role, your expertise won’t just influence a project—you’ll shape an experience that impacts frontline workers and families statewide.   What’s in It for You? - Meaningful Impact – You’ll help design and deliver a Worker Interface that frontline eligibility workers can trust, rely on, and champion. - Field-Driven Innovation – Work closely with counties, Tribal Nations, UX teams, and leadership to ensure every solution is grounded in operational reality. - Leadership Opportunity – Serve as the primary field lead through design, build, pilot, and stabilization. - Collaborative Culture – Join a supportive Trissential community driven by purpose, partnership, and continuous improvement.   Your Role & Responsibilities As the Implementation Lead / Human Services Consultant, you will: - Lead identification, outreach, onboarding, and readiness for pilot counties and Tribal Nation partners - Build trusted relationships with agency leadership, supervisors, and frontline workers to drive strong engagement - Serve as the primary field implementation lead during design, build, testing, and deployment - Ensure all pilot activities align with real-world operational needs and program workflows - Support pilot go-live and stabilization, gathering stabilization needs and frontline feedback - Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops with county and Tribal stakeholders - Translate human services policies and operational requirements into user stories and backlog priorities - Maintain traceability between policy constraints, requirements, and system design decisions - Partner closely with MNIT UX and product teams, translating user research into actionable design recommendations - Help define experience metrics—such as improved worker experience or reduced manual effort - Serve as a central coordination point across MNIT, DCYF, DHS, vendors, and pilot agencies - Facilitate alignment between policy, business needs, and technical teams - Establish feedback loops to ensure continuous insights and measurable improvements   Skills & Experience You Should Possess - 15+ years of experience in human services, implementation leadership, or similar roles - Strong understanding of county and Tribal Nation operations - Experience leading large-scale pilots or technology rollouts - Ability to translate policy and operations into actionable requirements - Expertise collaborating across UX, product, technical, and business teams - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills   Bonus Points If You Have: - Previous experience with MNIT, DHS, DCYF, or Minnesota statewide programs - Background in user-centered design or service design - Experience supporting modernization within eligibility, case management, or related human services systems - Familiarity with agile methodologies and backlog management   Education & Certifications You Need: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Public Administration, Social Work, Business, or a related field - Advanced degrees are welcomed but not required - Relevant certifications (Agile, PMP, PROSCI) are a plus, not a requirement   What We Offer At Trissential, we invest in people who create real impact.
