Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at arenaflex. As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and performing other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, entering patient and drug information, and performing other duties as assigned
- Interact with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships
- Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and perform other tasks
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
- Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers and provide personalized service
- Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, including resolving customer issues and answering inquiries
- Perform duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager, staff pharmacist, and store manager
Essential Qualifications
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment
- Preferred: previous work experience with arenaflex
- Preferred: desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Preferred: good computer skills
- Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control
- Preferred: PTCB certification
