As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Patient Care and Prescription Fulfillment Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: * **Customer Experience**: Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * **Operations**: Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. * **Pharmacy Operations**: Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. * **Inventory Management**: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. * **Store Maintenance**: Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * **Training and Development**: Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **Basic Qualifications**: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. * **Preferred Qualifications**: Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer to have prior work experience with arenaflex. Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
