Key Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and driving project success through effective planning, execution, and monitoring. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the team in the development of project charters and management plans, and directing, managing, monitoring, and controlling projects to ensure successful outcomes. - Meeting with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, and creating detailed Work Breakdown Structures to guide project execution. - Demonstrating effective communication skills, working closely with managers and team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met. - Developing and managing detailed project Gantt charts, analyzing critical paths and major workstreams, and collaborating with supervisors and project PMs to establish sub-project budgets and monitor costs. - Developing risk management plans, identifying and analyzing project risks, and developing and monitoring risk response plans to mitigate potential issues. - Estimating, acquiring, and assigning project team resources, defining roles and responsibilities, and providing direct feedback to functional managers on performance reviews. - Developing Stakeholder management plans, identifying and analyzing Stakeholder expectations, and developing and executing communications management plans to ensure effective project communication. - Incorporating end-user feedback to refine project scope, communicating changes and updates to key stakeholders, and understanding how project goals fit into broader organizational objectives. - Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and schedules, and serving as the PMO project lifecycle expert on the team. - Performing project status reporting, exercising good judgment when escalating project and operational risks, and leveraging PM tools to manage open actions, risks, key decisions, and lessons learned. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with a minimum of 4+ years of project management-related work experience. - Demonstrated experience managing or leading projects of varying complexity through the full project lifecycle. - Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other similar tools. - Certification in Project Management, such as CAPM or PMP, is highly preferred. - Utilization of agile and/or waterfall planning methodology is also preferred. - Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for product design, as well as experience leading projects for medical devices or regulated industries, is a plus.
