Our data platform team is divided into several focus areas, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities:
* **Database Access Stage:** This team builds and maintains an adaptable query engine that enables Netflix microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently. You'll work on designing and implementing scalable and high-performance systems that meet the evolving needs of our microservices.
* **Data Stage Foundation:** This team provides a platform for our own data platforms, enabling us to rapidly develop and deploy cutting-edge data and analytics systems without building custom platforms for each new system. You'll work on designing and implementing high-impact frameworks, control, and deployment systems that meet the needs of running our data platforms at scale.
* **Big Data Figure:** This team is responsible for providing a cloud-native platform for distributed data processing at Netflix. You'll work on designing and implementing scalable and efficient systems that enable us to process large datasets and provide sub-second latency for specific types of queries.
* **Big Data Arrangement:** This team offers a platform for planning, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve manner. You'll work on designing and implementing scalable and efficient systems that enable us to process large datasets and provide a seamless experience for our users.
**What You'll Do**
As a full stack software engineer on our data platform team, you'll have the opportunity to:
