**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Southwest Airlines operations support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assembling large, complex units of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements. You'll also identify, design, and implement internal process upgrades, including re-designing infrastructure for increased scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
**Responsibilities**
* Assemble large, complex units of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
* Identify, design, and implement internal process upgrades, including:
+ Re-designing infrastructure for increased scalability
+ Optimizing data delivery
+ Automating manual processes
* Build required infrastructure for high-quality extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
* Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational performance and customer acquisition
* Work with stakeholders, including data, design, product, and government groups, to support them with data-related technical issues
* Generate or adapt tools and technology to serve customer needs
* May perform other process responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
* Proficiency in AWS and SQL technologies
* Experience with data pipeline development and analytical tool creation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
* Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
