**About the Role**
As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the data pipelines that power our media business. This will involve a range of tasks, including:
* Designing and implementing data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and other tools
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions
* Troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and applying this knowledge to improve our data pipelines
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL pipeline development and support
* Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms
* Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
* Familiarity with source control systems such as GitLab and GitHub
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
**Nice to Have**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
* Proficiency in cloud design and deployment using AWS or other cloud platforms
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
* Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
