Our team is dedicated to providing personalized support, resolving issues efficiently, and exceeding customer expectations. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing legendary customer service to our customers, handling their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring that they have an exceptional experience with our company. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your friendly, patient, and problem-solving approach will set the tone for their interaction with us. **Responsibilities** * Provide friendly service to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers * Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our company * Handle any aspect of customer service, including ticketing, check-in, baggage service, reservations, and resolving related complaints and problems * Greet and handle customers in a polite and friendly manner * Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets * Compute charges, make change, and balance daily transactions * Check in baggage and cargo * Answer telephone calls to provide information, page customers, resolve problems or complaints, and assist as needed * Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner * Deal with mishandled customers as a result of oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged luggage * Resolve such problems quickly and within guidelines established by the company * Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer all general inquiries from customers and other visitors to the airport terminal * Complete forms and reports as required by the company * Write irregularity and complaint reports as required **Essential Qualifications** * Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of the job * Ability to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations * Ability to work well with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful situations * Must be able to satisfactorily complete customer service agent training program with an 80% or greater average and an evaluation period * Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed * Must work under tight time constraints to accomplish quick turns of aircraft * Must present a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and Labor Agreement * Must be able to perform all job functions within a limited space * Must be able to effectively communicate verbally by telephone, face-to-face, and on public address systems * Must possess good written and oral skills * Must be able to communicate information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in customer service or a related field * Knowledge of ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks * Foreign language skills are desirable but not required **What We Offer** * Competitive salary * Opportunities for overtime and shift premiums * Benefits package, including: + Fly for free on any open seat on all arenaflex flights (your eligible dependents too) + Up to a 9.3% 401(k) company match, dollar for dollar, of your eligible pay, per paycheck + Potential for annual profit-sharing contribution toward retirement - when arenaflex profits, you profit * Career growth opportunities and learning benefits * Work environment and company culture highlights at arenaflex: + Collaborative and dynamic team environment + Opportunities for professional growth and development + Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance + Flexible work arrangements and work-life balance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, we want to hear from you!
