**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service and accuracy for plan benefits and accompanying workflow. You will evaluate communications from members and providers, process requests accordingly, and act as the primary contact for plan benefit questions for all lines of business. You will also be responsible for oral and written communications to members and providers in response to questions and requests.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to members and providers, responding to questions and requests in a timely and accurate manner
* Evaluate communications from members and providers, processing requests and resolving issues in a fair and efficient manner
* Act as the primary contact for plan benefit questions for all lines of business, providing accurate and timely information to members and providers
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and providers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes
* Stay up-to-date on health plan benefits, rules, and regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Two (2) years of professional customer service experience required
* Experience in a health plan setting preferred
* Experience with State and Federal rules and regulations (including Medicare and Medicaid) preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications, health administration)
* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
* Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Call Center Professional)
