District Sales Manager (DSM)

Position Summary:
Polyglass is seeking a driven and relationship-focused District Sales Manager (DSM) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the full portfolio of Polyglass products within your assigned territory while building strong partnerships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and architects.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll not only execute against a monthly sales plan but also identify new opportunities, forecast market trends, and gather competitive insights to help drive continued growth.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Grow and maintain sales within an established customer base
- Meet and exceed assigned district sales targets
- Build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and specifiers
- Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Identify and pursue project leads within your territory
- Participate in sales meetings, strategy sessions, and partner events
- Provide product support and basic troubleshooting for customers
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and product feedback
- Maintain accurate and timely field reports and sales data
- Plan and organize your territory to maximize efficiency and results
Required:
- 2–5 years of sales experience (preferably within the building materials or related industry)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Work Environment & Travel
- Remote, field-based role within an assigned sales district
- Regular travel to customer sites and occasional visits to company facilities
- Minimum of 25% travel required
- Ability to navigate job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders when needed
