As we enter our next stage of growth, we are seeking a high-performance Admissions Leader to scale our admissions engine and to strengthen our systems, processes and increase performance.  The Raleigh House is seeking a passionate, skilled and seasoned Director of Admissions to join our Team. This role is responsible for leading and scaling the admissions department to drive consistent census growth and revenue performance. This is a leadership position for a builder, someone who thrives in high volume environments, understands behavioral health sales complexity, and is motivated by measurable performance and accountability. Position Overview: Leadership & Team Management - Manage and oversee a remote admissions team, including staffing schedules, PTO management, daily sync meetings, and regular one-on-one supervision. - Support, coach, and develop remote Admissions Coordinators to improve skills in the client journey, motivational interviewing, and sales closure. - Review calls with coordinators to increase call quality and conversion - Oversee ongoing team development, training, and adherence to admissions best practices. - Provide call coverage as needed for training, support, and operational continuity. - Assure team adherence to all SOP's to maintain smooth and consistent systems and processes. Admissions Operations & Sales Oversight - Oversee the full admissions lifecycle from inquiry to placement - Ensure accurate documentation within Salesforce CRM - Review dashboards and deliver monthly/weekly KPI reports - Manage and strengthen lead generation pipelines - Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to improve lead quality - Secure payments in coordination with the Billing Department - Oversee all cash-pay situations and financial clarity for families - Inform and drive changes or upgrades necessary for the company to perform at its needed admissions rate . Clinical Collaboration & Client Placement - Oversee screenings for client appropriateness and ensure referrals align with client needs, resources, and clinical recommendations. - Ensure appropriate level of care and site placement using ASAM and LOCUS criteria. - Oversee intake scheduling and census management in collaboration with clinical teams. - Collaborate with clinical and medical teams on high-risk admissions. - Ensure all prospective clients are greeted professionally by phone and provided accurate, sensitive information about treatment options. Insurance & Financial Coordination - Oversee verification of benefits (VOB) for insurance clients. - Ensure clear, accurate explanations of insurance benefits and financial responsibility are provided to clients and families. Education and Experience Requirements: - 5+ years of progressive experience in behavioral health or healthcare admissions, intake, or sales - 5 years of leadership experience managing and coaching remote teams - Proven and driven measurable growth in admissions volume and conversion rates - Strong understanding and high level experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems - High level experience in insurance verification and healthcare financial coordination - Demonstrated ability to set clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and effectively establish, monitor, and achieve individual and company-wide goals. - Ability to bring structure, clarity, and discipline to high-growth environments Benefits - Health Insurance (HSA options available). - Employer-Paid Life/AD&D Insurance. - Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life/AD&D Plans. - Monthly Technology Stipend.  - Generous PTO: - 60 hours of paid vacation per year! - Up to 48 hours of paid sick leave per year! - 401(k) Retirement Plan with up to 4% employer match.
