About the Role We have fully automated our psychometric scoring engine using Google Sheets formulas. Data flows automatically from Google Forms into Google Sheets, where all calculations, norms, and benchmarks are already applied. We are now looking for a specialist to take this structured data and transform it into interactive, client-ready psychometric reports and dashboards. Your core mission: Replace static spreadsheet tables with dynamic visual reports using [Google Looker Studio OR Power BI] . You will not need to build the scoring algorithms; you need to visualize the output beautifully and efficiently. Key Responsibilities 1. Report & Dashboard Development Connect Google Sheets as a live data source to [Looker Studio / Power BI] . Design automated psychometric reports including: - Individual candidate/profile reports. - Competency gap analysis. - Normative comparisons (candidate vs. benchmark). - Create templates so that refreshing data automatically updates all client reports. 2. UX & Design Optimization - Ensure reports are visually clean, professional, and client-ready - Apply company branding (colours, logos, fonts) to all reporting outputs. - Simplify complex psychometric concepts (percentiles, sten scores, z-scores) into intuitive charts. 3. Automation & Maintenance - Schedule automated email distribution of reports (if applicable). - Troubleshoot data connectivity issues between Google Sheets and the BI tool. - Document the data structure and reporting workflow for future maintenance. 4. Collaboration - Work with our team to understand which data points are most critical to visualize. - Suggest improvements to the Google Sheets setup to make visualization easier (e.g., naming ranges, tab structure). Essential - Proven experience building reports/dashboards in [Looker Studio OR Power BI] . - Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (understanding of data types, query functions, named ranges). - Ability to connect Google Sheets as a live data source to a BI tool. - An eye for data visualization design (you know when to use a bar chart vs. a scatter plot). Nice to Have - Previous experience working with psychometric, HR, or assessment data. - Familiarity with concepts like percentiles, standard deviations, and norm groups. - Experience with Google Apps Script or Power Automate (to further automate report generation). - Experience exporting Looker/Power BI reports to PDF for individual client delivery.
