What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for schools, state agencies, and educational associations seeking support
- Analyze and interpret data manuals, FAQs, and other materials related to educational data applications
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base for tracking stakeholder inquiries and issues
- Resolve stakeholder issues through independent analysis and problem-solving
- Direct customers to appropriate resources on the CEPI website for additional assistance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- One year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10 level
- Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level for Departmental Analyst P11
- Experience is considered professional if the job performed required a bachelor's degree
- Must be able to work onsite a minimum of one day per week in Michigan
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing front-line, high-volume customer service support in a Help Desk environment
- Familiarity with large-scale data collection applications and systems
- Experience leading the development of user support or training materials
- Previous employment in a Michigan K-12 or postsecondary educational setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software
