The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Contract Billing Specialist to join our remote team. This position will manage billing operations across our multi-site clinical research network, ensuring accurate revenue cycle management and timely collections while supporting our mission of advancing medical knowledge through meaningful clinical trials.
What You'll Do
• Process and submit billing for clinical trial services to sponsors, CROs, and insurance providers
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve payment issues with sponsors and vendors
• Maintain accurate billing records and generate monthly financial reports
• Coordinate with clinical teams to verify billable services and study milestones
What We're Looking For
• Required: 2+ years of medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience
• Required: Proficiency in billing software and Excel (advanced functions preferred)
• Required: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Preferred: Clinical research billing experience
• Preferred: Knowledge of insurance billing processes and CPT codes
• Preferred: Experience with multi-location billing operations
