Job Description:
• Complete soft checks and Green VOBs where verification can be obtained electronically or through payer portals without outbound calls to insurance companies.
• Accurately review and verify patient eligibility, coverage details, and benefit information through online systems and clearinghouses.
• Properly document and relay benefit information to provider offices in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to email correspondence from provider offices promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all benefit verifications are entered accurately into internal systems with strong attention to detail.
• Communicate any discrepancies, system issues, or eligibility concerns to leadership as needed.
• Assist with additional weekend administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum of one year of healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance portals, eligibility tools, and electronic verification systems strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently to meet productivity expectations.
• Adherence to strict confidentiality standards to safeguard patient information and protect patient rights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant technologies.
• Dependable, accountable, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer; ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds as needed.
