PTC is a leading company in transforming operations by bridging the physical and digital worlds. The Associate Solutions Consultant will support the sales process by demonstrating PTC's solutions, assisting in technical presentations, and contributing to the successful adoption of products.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior Solutions Consultants in preparing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing PTC's software solutions
- Support the customization and configuration of PTC products for proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, ensuring they align with client requirements and demonstrate tangible business value
- Conduct research and analysis on client business challenges and industry trends to help tailor solution proposals effectively
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution architectures
- Respond to technical questions from prospects during sales cycles, clarifying product features, benefits, and implementation considerations
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PTC's product portfolio, including PLM, CAD, IoT, and AR solutions
- Create and update demonstration environments and supporting materials, ensuring their readiness and accuracy for client engagements
- Participate in internal training sessions and self-study to continuously enhance product knowledge and presentation skills
- Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market demands
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Industrial), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in technology and business applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced technology environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites as required
- Familiarity with CAD software, PLM systems, IoT platforms, or AR technologies is a plus but not required
